We saw the movie The Cabin in the Woods here. A group of five kids are in a cabin - and stuff gets weird. This was my first horror film. (well, unless The Grey is considered horror)

Regal - Cantera 17 + RPX
Another movie. The Raid - Redemption (Serbuan maut). This one is in Indonesian. And it kicks major ass. Literally and figuratively. It's the most violent movie I've ever seen (granted, it's only the 9th movie I've ever seen) it started out with a lot of guns and ended with spectacular martial arts - called Silat.
The cinema used to be pretty much the same as South Barrington 30 - but this one has been chopped down to 17. You can see the empty wing through the side doors though.

Muvico - Rosemont
Another new cinema, and this time a new company - Muvico. Tonight we saw American Reunion. My owner tells me this is a sequel, eh, whatever, I enjoyed it. Oddly enough, I've seen more R rated films than any other rating, so far (this is my sixth R rated film). We had to sit in the second row, so we were pretty much looking straight up at the screen.

Do you like it better without the flash...
...or with it?
So. Close. To the screen.

AMC South Barrington 30
Wow, this cinema has 30 screens. It also still has some that play 35mm film - my owner liked this, I had never seen anything 35mm before, so it didn't really matter to me. We saw Casa de mi Padre, which was in Spanish, for the most part. This is the first time I've seen a movie in the same auditorium number as I'd seen a previous movie (the last movie I saw, 21 Jump Street, was in auditorium 9 as well)

AMC - Streets of Woodfield
AMC Streets of Woodfield theatres. We saw 21 Jump Street, and this is the first time I've seen a movie where the star was from another movie I'd seen - Channing Tatum. My owner would like to apologize to anybody that sat near him during the movie, as he got a fit of the coughs, which must've been annoying.

that guy looks relaxed (it was a commercial, not from 21 Jump Street)

AMC Machesney Park
Another movie! This one is called The Vow and it's about amnesia. It also takes place in Chicago, yay! My owner and I were the only two people in the entire auditorium for this movie. There was a red band trailer too, my owner says that that's unusual for a PG-13 movie.

Northbrook Court 14
Another movie! This one had Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington going back and forth between working together and working against one another. It takes place in South Africa.

Lincolnshire 21 + IMAX
Another movie! This time it was actually two different movies, a short called Tangled Ever After and a feature called Beauty and the Beast. These were animated and in 3D. My owner tells me that B&B is a re-release. I have to admit, I had to stifle a tear or two ... no more TP on my roll to dab at the eyes. We were in auditorium #19

Showplace 16 Rockford, IL
Another movie. This was was about a bunch of wolves that try to eat Liam Neeson. Called "The Grey". If you saw it, did you see the short scene after the credits ended?

The Glen 10 Theatres
Wow, I saw a movie. I've never seen a movie before. This one was called "Contraband" and there were boats and traveling and Kate Beckinsale. I want to see more movies. In fact, like I said about traveling, I also want to become the empty TP roll that has seen the most movies ever!
